Fairfax’s Description of this model –

• The Original Fairfax Dressage saddle was developed and tested using pressure mapping and gait analysis technology. It incorporates a patent-applied-for panel design which allows the horse’s shoulder greater freedom of movement and so enables greater knee flexion. A trial involving eight international riders and a gait analysis high-speed camera proved that this saddle enables the horse to be neater in front.
• Made from the finest Italian calf leather and English butt leather, this saddle benefits from being a close contact monoflap design with a surfaced block for rider support.
• This saddle features surface-mounted knee blocks which are contoured to provide enhanced in-saddle security for the rider without restriction of the knees.
• Rider comfort is further enhanced by a recess in the flap for the stirrup leather so that the rider’s upper leg can form a close contact with their horse without any rubbing.
• Triple billet system provides girthing options both on and off the point to be used with the slimline self-levelling balance strap.
• Well-balanced panels with a broad bearing surface ensure an even distribution of weight across the horse's back
• The mono flap design in combination with the surface mounted thigh rolls provide both closeness and support.
• The panel is wool flocked and offers closer rider contact and remarkable saddle stability.
